The Wildcats were finally able to get to a bowl game and win under the direction of head coach Mike Stoops. The Expectations in Tuscon are much higher this year. The Wildcats offense has come into its own under the direction of offensive coordinator Sonny Dykes. In the last two years the offense went from averaging 16.6 points per game to 36.3 points per game.
