A while back we took a look at the SEC and now the focus shifts to the Big 12 Conference in what will be the final year of its existence in current form. The Big XII has been well represented in the BCS Title Game of late and there are a couple of teams that could make it three in a row. With that in mind, lets take a look at the 2010 Big 12 Outlook:

While we do not get terribly involved in the handicapping of hockey, we are sports fans, and the Stanley Cup Finals are riveting television, so we were glued to the TV for all six games (well, the five that were NOT in direct competition with the NBA Finals.) Usually we do not have a major rooting interest, but this time we did, as we were all in rooting for the Flyers. There was one main reason, and his name was Marian Hossa.

For the third time in four years Phoenix and San Antonio are facing each other in the NBA Playoffs. The Spurs have won each of the previous two series – in 2007 and 2008 – and overall are 8-3 SU in the series, winning 4-2 in 2007 and 4-1 in 2008. It is the 2007 series that is one of the most memorable in NBA playoff history, and the one that has everyone excited about this renewal of the rivalry.
