We know that seeing a “Congratulations!” in your inbox can be exciting, but the unfortunate truth is that there are scammers out there that want to take advantage of your trust, and will try to trick you into giving out your personal information. Since hosting our first few competitions, we wanted to let you know how you can look out for a winning message the Playbook way.
No sketchy messages from us! ❌
Say no to non-Playbook communication. Avoid messages from accounts seeming to be from Playbook, just because they have “playbook” in their email address or message. After the voting period is up, winners will be contacted by a representative at Playbook. Look for a message in your email inbox, and Playbook inbox.
Get to know us! 👩🏻💻
Our team actively communicates with Playbook users to collaboratively build a product that’s right for creatives everywhere. Despite being a small team, we pride ourselves in connecting with our community. Get to know who we are.
No accidental prize-giving 🥷
Playbook is serious about removing fake votes and accounts that attempt to skew competition results unfairly, and hopes to level the playing field by featuring new entries on social media and removing our “Popular” category. Contest winners will be required to prove their identity using a standard form of identification (e.g. passport, drivers license) to the Host before prizes are distributed.
We would never… 🙅
Playbook will never ask you for your phone number, password, or bank PIN. Whoever is, is trying to scam you!
